Learning Facilitator
Responsibilities:
Maintaining an outdoor environment that maximizes learning potential through familiar rhythms and organization of materials collaboratively with classroom teacher
Willingness to joyfully embrace outdoor experiences in all weather and maintain appropriate gear for all climates.
Providing a welcoming atmosphere with intentional connections at drop‐off and pick‐up.
Preparing content, images and videos for curriculum documentation and social media posts. Submitted to the school directors
Attending and active participation in monthly staff meetings, focusing on School at Morse HIll philosophy and enhancing teaching practice.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experiences as paraeducator, assistant teacher or outdoor educator
Certified in First Aid/CPR or willingness to become certified.
Successful candidates must pass background record checks: CORI and SORI, EEC Background Check including fingerprints.
Physical Tasks include:
Remaining outdoors in all weather conditions for prolonged periods of time
Hiking; climbing; canoeing; carrying gear
Making and maintaining campfires
