In this class we will be using free software for all assignments, so if you have your own computer feel free to download them and explore further at home.

• Krita: An app for digital painting and drawing.

• Medibang Paint: Another App for digital Painting and Drawing!

• Inkscape: A vector art app. Vectors are commonly used for logos, simple illustrations, and typography, and are unique in that they have no resolution, so they will not become pixellated or blurry no matter how large or small you make them.

• Blender: A 3D modeling and 3D animation app. Incredibly robust and powerful in what it can do, but can also be quite complex to learn. 

• Pencil2D: A 2D animation app.

• Scribus: A digital publishing app.

• Unity: A free to use game engine suite for developing video games. Very complex to learn.
