If a student is having trouble with a particular skill or subject, his or her struggle must be recognized and addressed before they start falling behind.  At Successful Scholars, we are big believers in establishing a solid foundation so that your child not just pass, but thrive and excel progressing confidently from one grade to the next. 

One-on-one tutoring provides students with an indispensable advantage in their academic career. Given the growing competition for limited spaces in colleges and universities across the country, getting into the right college is more stressful than ever before and our qualified tutors know how to not only thoroughly prepare students to tackle the SAT and the ACT and achieve extremely high test scores, they also know what it takes to be accepted in the student’s dream school. We Offer a Free Initial Consultation 

When you first contact us, we will schedule an initial consultation with our director to discuss your student's needs, learning style, strengths and weaknesses, and overall academic goals.  We are successful because we take the extra time to meet our clients face-to-face. The matching process is much more successful when we have an opportunity to meet you and your child.  Investing the time to meet face-to-face with all of our clients is invaluable and essential for us to find the perfect tutor for your child.
To achieve the goals discussed in the meeting our director will make recommendations concerning the nature and extent of tutoring that would benefit your child the most.  The director will then carefully select a tutor based on academic needs, learning style and personality to ensure a good match.  Each student is assigned a dedicated tutor who is committed to them for each session. We believe in consistency so the tutor can build a strong relationship and sense of trust with their student.

In addition, our tutors are thoroughly screened and background checked prior to hiring.  When you request private tutoring, you will be matched with an expert tutor based on your student’s academic needs, learning style and personality.  

When meeting with your student, they will individualize lessons and present materials and concepts in engaging, easy-to-understand ways that keep students motivated and on the road to academic success.  All our tutors will also make sure to communicate with parents on a regular basis to keep them updated of progress. In addition, throughout the entire tutoring process, our academic director is available for support and committed to facilitating the best possible experience to students and their families.
