All About Softball

Hey everyone, Lets learn about Softball. We will learn about the rules, positions, and uniforms. If you don’t play softball maybe this will teach you, and you might play. Let’s hit a home run and hit this off with some rules.

Rules

Here is some information on the rules. If you believe it, a softball field is smaller than a baseball field. A softball game is seven innings. If you are watching a softball game, it feels like a long time. If you are playing though it does not feel so long. The pitchers pitch underhand.

Positions

I will tell you about the positions now. There are nine positions. Do you want to know the hardest position? The hardest is pitcher. I understand it is not easy to pitch. You must learn to get it straight and you must learn how to pitch. The easiest is right field. It is easy cause the ball does not typically go back there.

Uniforms

The last topic is uniforms. The highest number you can have on your uniform is 99. Did you know you can protect your legs with a uniform? Your pants protect your legs when you slide. If there were 10-15 players on a team, there would be 10-15 uniforms.
