Pizza Time!
How to make Pizza! And some Storytime too!
Ya’ll wazup! Today I am going to be showing you how to make pizza! Pizza is really good, and it is really cool. Now, let’s learn together! I will be showing you a full recipe (kinda), so let's dive in!
Dough!
First, let’s focus on preparing for the dough. First, you will need Flour, TONS of Flour. So, then if you want to make more, or the dough gets too sticky. (It happens a lot more than you think.) And you also need warm water, but depending on the recipe, that will be last. Then you will need Olive Oil. Olive Oil is used in most common baking dishes and helps mix the dough with the warm water. Then, you need yeast, which helps the dough rise. There are some basic ingredients, but depending on what you plan on doing, there are more advanced recipes and ingredients. Then you add all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and add the warm water to it. Then you mix the dough until it is a little not sticky ball. If it is still sticky and won’t come off your hands, you can add more flour, but be careful, because if you add too much, it will dry out the dough. Then we go to toppings! (We will get on baking later, stay tuned!)
Toppings!
Now, we are into toppings! Toppings are cool because even adding one kind changes the whole pizza! And every single one is unique! Let's dive into this. There are veggies, meats, dairy, and peppers. I put peppers in a different section because they usually spice up a pizza. With veggies, commonly used for veggie pizzas, they are used to try to make a pizza healthy. Then there are different ways to put them on the pizza, to make them evenly spread out across all slices. There is my favorite where you put three on each slice. Then, you have a cute little smiley face in the middle. Or you can be creative and make tons of unique designs! Different toppings have different tastes, just like people! Some like veggie pizzas, some like meat lovers, and some like bologna and ranch! Now I think that wraps up toppings, and now to different styles of baking!
Different Baking Styles!
There are so many variables in baking, but today we will be talking about three of them. The first one is different pizza ovens. Some are used with a fire, others are over a stove, and some are even portable! But with the right baking times, you can make all of them work the same! Which brings us to our next variable, baking times! Different baking times will make your pizza different in all sorts of ways. If you have a low baking time, such as 5-6 minutes, it will come out soft and chewy. If you have a high baking time, Such as 7+, it will come out thin and crispy. And for our last subject, Overall finish. This is for finishing touches, like maybe you want sprinkles or candles! Either way, it will come out good.
In conclusion, there are so many ways to make pizza, but you can find your own way too! Remember, you can do anything you put your mind to! Till’ then, see you guys later.
