Volleyball
By: Carolina Gomez
I’m going to be talking about Volleyball because it is one of my favorite sports and it’s the easiest to explain about it. Also, it is very interesting, and I know a lot about it.
Tips/Tricks
If you are going to try out for Volleyball there are some tips and tricks I have for you first when you go to the first tryout it’s best to bring knee pads because you will probably be landing on your knees a lot, and it’s good to bring knee pads so you don’t have knee problems later on you know.
Next you're going to want to have good sneakers because you will be running and if you don’t have the right shoes you will slip and fall, they don’t have to be like basketball shoes most volleyball players (Advanced) have basketball shoes all because they have good grip even when you are running and they are very cute. But if you are a beginner then you should just really focus on normal sneakers for now because you really don’t know if you will make it on the team or not. After all this buy like a volleyball if you want, when I successfully made it on the team I already had a Volleyball at my house so with that after many yelling's from my mom after knocking over a ton of thing I sure in fact did improve for serving, don’t even ask why I didn’t go outside and practiced lol. You will improve a lot, especially when you have a friend or family member to practice with. Lastly, just have fun, I know you might be nervous or start to overthink, but there is always next year so be confident and have fun!
