CTLE Information

From the Office of Teaching: March 2021

Near the end of the Registration period, certificate holders will receive an email from NYSED prompting them to login to their TEACH account and attest to completing the 100-hour CTLE requirement, answer moral character questions, and select a new Registration status.

We are not currently asking teachers to submit proof of completion for the 100 CTLE hour requirement.  Certificate holders should hold on to all CTLE certificates they have received. For a period of three years after they attest, we may require proof of completion in the event of an audit. Certificate Request Form 

Certificates will automatically be generated for courses through the STI and for Staff Development Days starting in September 2017.  If you participate in CTLE activities outside of Schalmont, those approved providers need to provide you with a certificate.  

Please use this Request Form to request CTLE hours for activities that are listed in the Schalmont PDP that are outside of courses offered through the STI.

7. Mentor Program

It is the responsibility of the certificate holder to track their PD hours and maintain proof of attendance.  The district no longer submits information to TEACH.
