The Schalmont Teachers' Institute was founded in 2001 as a single-district teacher center.  This center is part of the New York State Teacher Center network which serves over 675 school districts and over 1000 private and charter schools in NYS through more than 120 centers.  We are part of the Eastern Upstate Regional Network which includes two local centers at Schenectady and the Great Capital Region Teacher Center.  To learn more about New York State Teacher Centers, please visit their site.
