The Friends of Schalmont Libraries provides opportunities for our students that enhance their overall learning experience. This group partners with the elementary, middle, and high school library programs to provide additional supports for extended learning opportunities. Our group promotes literacy for all as well as the integration of S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) across disciplines.

The Friends of Schalmont Libraries has provided volunteers and financial support for author visits, Literacy Nights and individual teacher requests. The group also coordinates programs throughout the school year including Makerspace, Lunch Bunch and Workshops.
