Today is a “D" day

                  NEW

Interested in reading something new? Not sure what books you like to read? Want to spend some time relaxing and reading? Come to the library for a book tasting where you'll be able to spend the period sampling a variety of books. On top of that, you'll be able to make yourself a bookmark or two for your current reads! Join Ms. Perry and The Friends of the Schalmont Libraries in the library on 12/17 during lunch periods. Sign up in the main office!

Any seniors who have not yet selected their formal and informal pictures for the yearbook must do so ASAP.  Select your images through the link in the email sent to you from Upstate Images. See Mrs. Pontin with any questions.

Attention Seniors!  It’s that time of year for you to order your cap and gowns for Graduation!  Please go to the link posted on schoology for all the details on ordering your regalia.  The deadline to order is February 1st.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the main office.

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

The English Honor Society is collecting Holiday and winter-themed books for the Little Free Libraries at Jefferson Elementary, Schalmont Middle School, and Schalmont High School. Please donate books to Ms. Cohen in room 54 or the High School library by Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 19th.

Auditions for the spring musical Mamma Mia will be the week of January 5 - right after the holiday break. If you are interested in getting information and preparing for auditions the drama club has a few upcoming events that are open to any interested High School students:

Elevating Student Voices will have a club meeting December 18th at 2:30pm in the library.  Elevating Student Voices is a student-led club that provides a space for students to share perspectives, learn how to advocate respectfully and contribute to dialogue about inclusion and acceptance. Please reach out to Mrs. Williams in the main office for more information.
