Step Three: Create a Mini-Book of Nonfiction Categories

• Now you are going to create a mini-book with a page for each of the 10 Dewey Decimal Classification System categories.

You will:

• Get a Mini-Book Template from Mrs. Klein

• Follow these directions to make your Mini-Book.

• When your have created your book, label category has a page. 000, 100, and 200 are small sections, so they are grouped on one page. Some categories have been labeled for you.

• Now go to each nonfiction category (100s, 200s, 300s, etc.) in our library. Find 3 books you have not read, but would be interested in reading. Write the titles and call numbers in the spaces provided on each page.
