Danielle Abernethy is an Integration Specialist at Tech4Learning who specializes in using technology to make connections between what students have learned and their prior experiences. She has been a fixture at SC FBLA conferences since her years as an Instructional Technology Coach in Sumter in the early 2000s.
Quadri Bell is a District Community Liaison with the Office of Congressman James E. Clyburn. A 2021 graduate of the University of South Carolina, he majored in political science and government while minoring in international studies and business administration. He is a certified parliamentarian. Quadri is a SC FBLA Alumni having served two terms as the State President while attending Manning High School.
Kelly Brooks is a Financial Literacy Master Teacher. She has a true passion for working with students and equips them with the skills to effectively manage their own money. She serves as the CTE department chair and FBLA co-adviser at Dreher High School.
Amanda Cook is veteran public school teacher. She is a 2008 graduate of UNCG with a BA in Dance Education and minor in Communication Studies. She recently (July 2021) completed her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Teacher Leadership at Gardner Webb University. Amanda leads with communication and education to impact the life of individuals and society. Amanda is a SC FBLA Alumni, having served as the District II Vice President when she was a student at Lower Richland High School.
Benjamin Dusek is a Computer Science Regional Coach with the South Carolina Department of Education. He works with a team of coaches to develop opportunities for K-12 engagement and preparation for jobs in computer science. Known as the "robot man", Ben runs a loner program that offers a variety of physical computing devices for checkout and temporary use in classrooms.
Ashley Edmunds is the Director of Donor Development for the South Carolina Market of the March of Dimes. She has been our go-to person for the March for Babies for more than 14 years. Her passion for the mission of the March of Dimes is evident every time you speak with her - whether it is once a year or every week. Gwendolyn Floyd is a retired CATE educator. Even though she retired after teaching full-time 35 years, she continued to work in the school system for another 10 years. She loves working with students and with FBLA. She currently serves SC FBLA as District IIII Director.
Valeria Green brings experience with more than 15 years in corporate America and higher education in the areas of training and development, performance improvement consulting, diversity recruiting, and career coaching. She currently supports one of South Carolina's largest employers as the diversity and inclusion partner.
Kim Hamilton serves as the adviser for the Kingstree Middle Magnet School of the Arts. She has taught middle school for 20 years. Courses include keyboarding, computer applications, career education, ProTeam, computer science, digital literacy, and financial literacy. Hamilton has been an FBLA Middle Level adviser for several years. Most notably, she was recognized as 2009 SC FBLA Middle Level Adviser of the Year.
Deborah Hazzard serves as associate dean of diversity and inclusion at the Darla Moore School of Business. She is also principal consultant at 2 Higher Heights, LLC, a global management consulting and training firm specializing in diversity and inclusion training. She actively seeks opportunities to engage others in meaningful conversations about business ethics; diversity, equity, and inclusion. Hazzard hopes her efforts will ultimately help address pervasive economic and social inequality that persists across the globe while leading to more ethical, inclusive, socially responsible, and competitive enterprises.
Ross Jones serves as the Chair/State Adviser of SC FBLA. He has been a dedicated partner to SC FBLA for more than 25 years and brings a wealth of experience in corporate operations management. Ross is a SC FBLA Alumni having served as the State Treasurer when he attended Riverside High School.

Emma Mitchell is the Founder of InspireHER STEM, an international mentoring program in the USA and in partnership with the Amazing Grace Center Kenya CBO, a community-based organization and Charitable Trust in Kenya. She Educates, Mentors & Empowers girls to pursue Technology careers. Emma's passion for closing the gender digital skills divide has taken her to Nicaragua and Kenya to train facilitators in gender-sensitive STEM program implementation through girls code initiatives.
