Students in the Special Day Class at Harbor High School may work on diploma track (general education classes) or certificate track (electives and basic courses).
After earning diplomas and certificates, most students continue their training and studies through one of two primary post-secondary programs within Santa Cruz County.
(Post Senior Program)
The Bridges Program is supported by Santa Cruz City Schools Staff at the Branciforte Small Schools campus. Our goal is to promote confidence, self-advocacy and independance. Students who have not received a high school diploma and who have not reached the age of 22 are eligible.
The program includes class speakers, discussions and computer use to explore internet resources.
Adult Transition program, is IEP driven for students aged 18-22 after gaining their certificate of completion of their high school special education program. Our goal is to assist students in determining their own educational, independent living, and vocational goals while supporting their transition into adulthood.
