Strategic Planning 

TIMA's 2023-2028 Strategic Plan is the outcome of a robust community-driven and inclusive strategic planning endeavor, spanning a period of six months. This planning process was initiated through an open invitation and active involvement of community partners, leading to the formation of the Strategic Planning Committee. The committee comprised a diverse array of stakeholders, including school faculty, parents, community education leaders, TIMA governing board members, and representatives from community partners and the maritime industry. Together, they constituted a vital and comprehensive group essential for shaping the future of TIMA.

The process began by revisiting and updating TIMA's mission and vision, ensuring alignment with the TIMA’s goals for the coming years. Subsequently, an research phase encompassed an exploration of education trends, analysis of other maritime programs, and a thorough evaluation of the local economy's landscape. To glean insights and perspectives from those closely connected to TIMA, a stakeholder survey was also conducted, providing valuable feedback on our strengths and weaknesses, while also identifying external opportunities and threats. Synthesizing the collected information, the committee distilled essential elements and designed a strategic priorities framework, outlining the guiding principles and focus areas for TIMA's future.
