This information falls into the categories of Academic, Social-Emotional and Career topics. Lessons and resources are shared with students in a variety of ways: individual short-term counseling, small group meetings, and classroom large group lessons.
Each year, the STEM Counselors survey students and other stakeholders to determine the needs of that year's group and lessons are designed to address requested issues. The curriculum is flexible in that additional needs that arise may also be added to our plans.

Each grade level has a dedicated It's Learning page for Social Emotional wellness and LYP character traits. Mini-lessons and videos are available for students that reflect student survey needs results and the LYP tenents of Patience, Kindness, Honesty, Gratitude, Encouragement, Contributing, Apologies and Forgiveness.
Students may request to speak to a counselor via email. Counselor caseload is determined by student last name.
