As director, she is responsible for leading the professional learning team in developing, implementing, and monitoring the impact of district initiatives for professional learning. These opportunities may include school and district training, leadership development for certificated and classified employees, teacher induction, mentoring, endorsements, and alternative preparation programs for teaching. My name is Cheryl A. Morrison; I am the Professional /TSLA Clerk for Professional Learning, Employee Training, and Leadership Development. In this role, I am the System Administrator for PowerSchool TrueNorth (PSTN); I create and approve courses, create and update profiles, generate reports, etc. I assist the Certified/Classified Specialist with Vector. I also assist the TSLA Coordinator with processing applications and record keeping. I’m also the proctor for the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment. I also serve as the backup for the Administrative Secretary.

Dr. Jamita L. Cobb serves as a Coordinator for Special Programs with the Department of Professional Learning and Talent Development. In this capacity, Dr. Cobb provides training on classroom management, instructional planning, engaging diverse learners, and classroom instructional support to teachers. In addition, she serves as the coordinator for site-based Professional Learning Liaisons who serve as site-based professional learning coordinators to provide resources and prescriptive professional learning opportunities to meet the ongoing needs of the staff.
