7th/8th Grade Band

7th and 8th grade students have typically been playing in Band for at least 2 to 3 years. Depending on the sizes and instrumentation of each group, 7th and 8th grade students will either play separately or together. These students work on the finer points of musicianship to prepare for high school band. 7th and 8th grade students have the opportunity to participate in the Cardinal Winds Honor Band, take performance field trips, and play in three to five concerts a year.
