The New Hampstead K8 School Learning Commons focuses on creating an environment that produces information literate life-long learners who evaluate the reliability and validity of multiple resources to effectively produce and communicate their own knowledge and understanding.

Expectations:

Students should come prepared with the following items when visiting the NHK8 Learning Commons: School ID Badge; ear buds; thumb drive; writing utensils, paper and any other materials to assist with their projects. Head phones are available for temporary use.

Students are issued an ID at the beginning of the school year and after fall pictures. Replacement ID's cost $5.00 or 10 canned foods to be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Students who visit the NHK8 Learning Commons without classroom teacher supervision must have their school ID and media pass to enter. Student must also abide by the school dress code to enter.
