Read a Book Day

National Read a Book Day on September 6th is an annual celebration of the joy of reading. The Islands Learning Commons celebrates this sacred holiday by offering a little break in your day. Participants will report directly to the Learning Commons for their chosen block and hit the hot chocolate bar before reading. Participants are expected to read the entire block with no talking and no electronic devices. You must also provide the title of the book you plan to read on that day. If you don't know what to read, let the Learning Commons staff help find one! We look forward to seeing you there! Limit 20 per block.
