In partnership with NEED, Pacific Gas and Electric Co. is delighted to offer valuable resources for STEM and Career Technical Education classrooms across Northern and Central California.

PG&E invites teachers and school administrators with an interest in STEM to access free resources designed to enhance the classroom learning experience, keep teachers at the cutting-edge of the energy industry and prepare students for a brighter future.
These monthly webinars will include energy expert guest speakers, curriculum tools, hands-on teaching kits, and opportunities for paid student internships, scholarships, and mentoring.
Energy topics crosscut through a variety of disciplines including science, math, engineering, and technology, and they align effortlessly with NGSS and Common Core standards.

The Synopsys Silicon Valley Science & Technology Outreach Foundation enables and celebrates teachers and students developing science projects at K-12 public schools and private non-profit schools with 501(c)(3) public charity status in California and select schools affiliated with regional offices of Synopsys, Inc. In addition to sponsoring numerous science fairs including The Synopsys Championship, The Sonoma County STEAM Showcase, The Synopsys Alameda Science & Engineering Fair and sciencepalooza!, foundation programs and competitions include The Advanced Science Research Facility, The Advanced Science Research Class, SuperSchool teacher training seminars, the Synopsys Outreach Foundation n + 1 Prize, Science Fair 101 for Parents and contributions of science project poster boards and data collecting devices to eligible schools across California and parts of Oregon.
