Family & Consumer Science
Hello! I am Courtney Hawkins and I'd like to welcome you to the SCC FCS Website! I have been teaching Family & Consumer Science (FCS) at St. Croix Central since 2014. I earned my bachelor's degree in Family & Consumer Sciences Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2005. I am also a certified instructor and proctor for Serv Safe through the National Restaurant Association. I previously taught in Augusta, Rice Lake and Grantsburg. Outside of school my hobbies include baking, quilting, fishing and photography. I truly treasure any time I have to spend with my family.
The FCS program is continuing to grow and expand learning opportunities to provide hands-on experiences for students. The goal of FCS is to provide students with life skills that will help them be responsible and respectful members of society.
