This course is designed for students who want to discover a more detailed explanation of the human body and the world around them. This course will be specifically helpful for students interested in careers related to the human body after high school. Students will develop a basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology through hands-on labs and interactive classroom activities. Some of the comparative anatomy dissections included within the course are of pig hearts, cow eyes, and skeletal muscles of a chicken and fetal pigs. Background knowledge in biology and chemistry is helpful. An intense amount of vocabulary goes along with this class as well. Some of the body systems we will be studying are Skeletal System, Muscular System, Respiratory System, Cardiovascular System, Nervous System, Digestive System, and Integumentary System
