Mrs. Fern

Welcome to Kindergarten at St. Croix Central Elementary School! My name is Laura Fern and this will be my 17th year as a Panther. I am blessed to be part of a district and team that works each day to help children thrive creatively, socially and academically. My goal is to have a positive impact on your child's life each day. I am dedicated to providing a place where your child feels they belong, to helping them make new friends and to working together while having fun. Thank you for partnering with me to nurture and teach your child.

I grew up in Glenwood City, graduated with my undergrad from UW-Eau Claire and went on to get my Masters of Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary's University. I live on our family farm with my husband Jason and four kids Jack, Audrey, Hank and Ben. We love spending time with our family, going to the cabin and traveling.

I am looking forward to a great year!
