Intervention Program #2: Parallel Universe from Ancora Publishing
The Third Quest’s Parallel Universe is a reading intervention for struggling adolescent (5th through 12th grade) readers who haven’t mastered reading well enough to access sophisticated text with confidence. Lessons are systematically designed to build a strong foundation for reading well. Lessons include Word Study exercises, vocabulary tasks, narrative and informational passage reading, and comprehension building. Results are palpable.
