Join one of our AI inquiry groups at the elementary, middle, and high levels as we explore our overarching question tied to our mission statement:
How can Generative AI contribute to cultivating our vision of developing a resilient and adaptable learning community that fosters the potential of students and adults alike to live well-balanced lives full of meaning, purpose, impact, and joy?
Participants in their developmental level courses will engage in an exploratory phase of inquiry through the following questions:
What are the new developments with Generative AI and why do we need to know about them?
What Generative AI tools are safe and appropriate for teachers and students to use in a school setting?
How can we effectively support our students and our school community in navigating the opportunities and challenges of Generative AI?

This course for elementary teachers develops hands-on learning experiences that integrate math, science, and technology through interdisciplinary connections. The course will align with NYS Math, Science, and Technology standards. Participants will have the opportunity to observe these lessons demonstrated in classrooms. During the offered summer Program Improvement Day, they will reflect on and revise the lessons for future use.
