Project Description

Parking lots, garages and on-street parking spaces are often sources of anxiety and frustration for drivers, and there are unfortunately few ways to avoid using them. To address this challenge we put forward a concept “Parking as a Service”. This allows us the benefit of using software and cloud computing. In this work we provide smart parking management infrastructure and intelligent solutions to provide a user-friendly, scalable and robust system. Further, to maintain the privacy of customer information and easy exchange of data/state at each garage location we have introduced blockchain and docker assisted automated parking respectively.

Four main subtopics will be addressed: Blockchain for Customer Data Protection, Detection of Blacklisted Cars for security purposes; Docker Techniques and User Interface Implementation for Customer/Owner for user-friendly experience.
