For me, this is the most exciting part of this website. I would be thrilled to see your finished mending and upcycling projects and share them here! Let's inspire each other and celebrate our collective creativity. Please send me your photos here--they can include you or just your work, whichever you prefer. I will post them with first names only.
If you are a kid or teen, please also consider posting about your mending and upcycling projects on the How Are You Changing Everything? Padlet. This is part of a resource guide for Naomi Klein's book on youth activism, How to Change Everything. In the Padlet, young people are invited to share their own ideas for changing the world--both the work they have already done, and their plans and dreams. Learning about mending and upcycling in order to consume less and make your clothes last is a great way for young people to effect change, and posting your projects here could be a great way to spread the word and inspire other young people!
Thank you so much for visiting, and happy mending!
Nicky darned this sock using the Knitted Patch method.
Nicky is also making a latch-hook rug out of upcycled t-shirts.
