Calista Blanchard is a Rutgers Senior in the School of Arts and Sciences. She is a Medieval studies major, and is pursuing a minor in French and art history. As a lover of history, art, and archeology, she has loved participating in the IRT program as a member of Frescoes & Pharaohs. With her 2021 graduation on the horizon, she is thrilled that she was able to spend her final year at Rutgers performing humanities-based research with a fantastic team.
Joseph Campisano is a senior double majoring in history and political science and minoring in international and global studies. He is also an accelerated student in the Masters in United Nations and Global Policy (UNMA) program. Joseph is the vice- president of the Rutgers chapter of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society and a student ambassador for the UNMA program. Joseph’s plans for after graduation are finishing his MA degree and then pursuing a career in foreign policy analysis. He is a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoys writing in his free time.
Julia Fuchs is a junior triple majoring in history, anthropology, and French with a minor in archaeology. She is aspiring to earn a PhD in Egyptology and have a career in researching ancient Egyptian archaeology, art and language. In addition to her IRT research, Julia is also working on an honors thesis for history focused on Egyptian artifacts at Rutgers University. Outside of academics and research, Julia enjoys writing for Her Campus, The Daily Targum, participating in a weekly small group bible study, being a Girl Scout Troop leader and managing social media for the Rutgers Geology Museum.
Rhea Swain is a junior in the Rutgers Honors College majoring in art history and political science. This academic year, Rhea is the president of the Rutgers Art History Student Association and is a part of the Art History Student Advisory Board. In her time at Rutgers, she has also worked with organizations like the Zimmerli Art Museum, Center for Women in the Arts and Humanities, and The Feminist Art Project in research-related and administrative roles. Rhea enjoys writing about arts and culture; she has contributed to The Daily Targum by writing articles since her first year. In her free time, she enjoys baking, painting, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog Thor. After graduating, Rhea hopes to work in museums and continue studying art through interdisciplinary lenses.
