Growing up every Sunday my father put on the Giants game and yelled his plays at the television screen in hopes that the coach would somehow hear him. His fanfare has been passed down to me except the team I root for are the Chiefs (but I'll always have some love for the Giants). No, it is not because of Taylor Swift I started being a Chiefs fan in the 2019 season and have rooted for them ever since. Now that I'm older what has amplified my love for the sport is Fantasy Football. Overall, how a team navigates the highs and lows of a season and watching them overcome them draws me into the sport and always leaves me wanting more. 

Growing up Colombian American every World Cup meant cheering on my family's country in the biggest soccer tournament. It was a sport where every four summers there were family barbeques for each match filled with laughter, yelling, and enough food to feed all of Colombia. It's the memories and the love for my family that make me proud to be a Colombian and what fuels my love for watching the Colombian National team play 

Formula One was the first sport I discovered and came to love for myself. What started as watching the Netflix Documentary Series left me enamored with the sport. What I thought was just a sport of fast cars was a sport built on strategy from which tire to use, when to pit, and how to strategically use teammates to secure a win. What further fascinates me about the sport is the politics that occur behind the scenes which is a by-product of ensuring only 20 of the best drivers are on the track. The work ethic of each driver and team to continue performing at the highest level is what makes the sport memorizing.
