Meet Ms. Moga and the Title I Team

Cool breezes and falling leaves are headed our way! Welcome back to an exciting school year full of opportunity, much like the crisp air on the first day of Autumn.

My name is Megan Moga, and I am the Reading Specialist here at Grant Watts. This is my sixth year serving the Scappoose community, and I can't believe how time has flown! Before serving in Oregon, I spent 13 years in Las Vegas, Nevada teaching grades K-5. My passion is teaching reading and English as a second language. I also lead an amazing and diverse team of assistants that are as dedicated as I am in guiding your children to being successful members of the Scappoose community.

As of now, our team is busy assessing ALL of the students in the school using a tool called, FastBridge. After our assessments are complete, we will be starting reading interventions for those that may need extra support. I am also excited to share that we will be assisting teachers in providing math interventions this year.

Although I may only work with some students at school, I am also here for all families at Grant Watts. Please contact me at mmoga@scappoose.k12.or.us if you have any concerns or questions.

Please explore the website....I am especially excited about the Profile of a Graduate Literacy Program and our Author Visit this year!

Thank you to GWPO for funding these projects as well as the Birthday Book program!
