Join Sullivan County Anti-Drug Coalition as we work together to improve our county.
Coalition meetings are on the 2nd Thursdays of January, March, May, July, September, and November, from 10 AM - Noon at the Sullivan County Regional Health Department, Blountville. All are welcome! Click here for more information.

Any student that lives in Sullivan County is encouraged to create a billboard for substance abuse prevention. You are encourage to research the topic and learn about the prevention of tobacco/vaping use, underage alcohol use, or other drug abuse. Be creative and use positive messages, and try to stay away from scare tactics. Any media type is encouraged. It just need to be able to be placed on a billboard.
How the contest works:
1. Upload a photo of your artwork by January 7, 2020 on this website: https://1.shortstack.com/CBZwWT
2. After January 7th: ask you friends and family to visit the website each day to vote for your artwork.
3. The artwork with the most votes on January 31, 2020 will be the winner. We will announce the winner to you and your school and on the SCAD Coalition Facebook page.
4. The artwork will be placed on a billboard during the month of February.

Sudden Severe Lung Illnesses are being reported. The CDC released a warning that, e-cigarette products have been implicated in at least 7 deaths and hundreds of severe illnesses. Many more are pending more information. These sudden illnesses are affecting primarily adolescents and young adults who have reported using vapes or e-cigarettes. Please talk to your kids and young adults about this and they are using any type of vape or e-cigarette they should stop immediately! Please talk about these risks along with risk for addiction. Information and referral line provides accurate, up-to-date alcohol, drug, problem gambling, and other addiction information and referrals to all citizens of Tennessee at their request.
Callers are provided with at least 3 referral sources when possible. REDLINE staff does not do therapy or counseling with the caller or substance abuser, but gives them the information to put them in touch with someone who will provide a diagnosis, prognosis or assessment of the mental or physical health of the substance user/abuser. The REDLINE strives to provide the caller with specific referrals based on their stated needs.
