Register for SUMMER INTERSESSION CAMP today!

Registration opens April 30, 2024 and closes on May 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

We provide programming for after-school, intersessions, and the summer. We are able to offer a safe place that develops the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences and extracurricular activities. The program is intended to be student-centered, results driven, include community partners, and complement, but not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year.

SBUSD Extended Learning Programs are funded by the After-School Education and Safety (ASES) grant and the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) to serve mainly TK-6th grade students.

Participation in SBUSD Extended Learning Programs is a privilege.  Students are expected to respect the rights of others, attend regularly, and follow the instructions/rules of the Instructors/Coaches for their safety and that of the other children. If a child fails to behave properly or displays inconsistent attendance issues: 

• First offense: verbal warning

• Second offense: a written notice must go home for a Parent or Guardian signature.

• Third offense: suspension from activities for an agreed upon duration and/or behavior contract.

Our Before and After School Program Registration for 2024-25 was in person during the months of March and April 2024.

We will have another window of opportunity for you to register for our Before and After School Programs in July before the academic school year begins.

La inscripción se abre el 30 de abril de 2024 y se cierra el 15 de mayo de 2024 a las 11:59 p.m.

Los Programas de Aprendizaje Extendido de SBUSD son apoyados por la beca de Educación y Seguridad Después de Clases (ASES) y el Programa de Oportunidades de Aprendizaje Expandido (ELOP) para servir a estudiantes de TK-8vo grado.

Ofrecemos programación para después de la escuela, entre sesiones, y el verano. Podemos ofrecer un lugar seguro que desarrolle las necesidades e intereses académicos, sociales, emocionales y físicos de los alumnos mediante experiencias de aprendizaje prácticas y atractivas y actividades extraescolares. El programa está destinado a ser centrado en el estudiante, impulsado por los resultados, incluir socios de la comunidad, y complementar, pero no replicar, las actividades de aprendizaje en el día escolar regular y el año escolar.

La participación en los Programas de Aprendizaje Extendido del SBUSD es un privilegio.  Se espera que los estudiantes respeten los derechos de los demás, asistan regularmente y sigan las instrucciones/reglas de los Instructores/Entrenadores para su seguridad y la de los demás niños. Si un niño no se comporta correctamente o muestra problemas inconsistentes de asistencia: 

• Primera infracción: amonestación verbal

• Segunda ofensa: un aviso escrito debe ir a casa para la firma del Padre o Tutor.

• Tercera ofensa:  suspensión de las actividades por una duración acordada y/o contrato de comportamiento.
