We will work on simple additions problems. Try putting things "together" around the house.

Example: Ask your child, "If you put 3 spoons together with 3 crayons, how many objects will you have all together?" Choose items and amounts that are easy for your child to gather. Make a game and take turns asking each other!

Have your child line up the items in the math problem you asked and count the items "all together". It helps to have them touch each item as the count!
