Purpose of This Website

The purpose of this online classroom is to provide students who are currently excused for any reason from participating in Physical Education easy access to assignments (SEE TABS ABOVE ^) that must be completed in order to fulfill the South Brunswick High School Physical Education student graduation credit requirements. Each medically excused student will be required to complete specific assignments that are based upon the period of time they are medically excused. The student's scheduled Physical Education teacher is responsible for work assigned and grade input. All medically excused students should consult face to face with their Physical Education teacher prior to reporting to their assigned medical HAP.

DIRECTIONS

1. You should report to your teacher prior to completing any of the assignments. Your teacher may assign you specific assignments to complete from the list at the tabs above or give you the freedom to choose your own assignments. These assignments are mandatory and will be graded as Pass/Fail. It is not "additional" work, but rather the required amount of work that should be completed while in your medical HAP during PE class. It is very important to check in with your teacher prior to reporting to your medical HAP if you have any questions to avoid confusion. Assignments have differing week values. For example: if a student is out for 4 weeks, they may complete four "1-week" assignments, two "2-week" assignments, or one "1-week" and one "3-week" assignment to earn PE credit.

2. Find the assignments you are required to complete via the tabs above. Click the assignment and make your own copy to your personal documents. Complete the assignments and save your work again. You should be able to type on your downloaded document.

* Important Exception - If you want to complete specific packet assignments you should see your teacher, complete them by hand and personally deliver them to your teacher at the end of each week.

3. Email or hand in completed assignments to your teacher weekly, or by the specific deadlines set by your teacher. Make sure to put your Name/ Block/ and Title of Assignment in the subject field of your email and on the assignment itself.

4. If you are unable to attach your assignments you can print your completed assignment(s) and hand-deliver them to your teacher by the deadline set by your teacher.

  • For the Video Assignments - Click on the title of the video assigned and find the link located on the question sheet. Watch the video and complete the handout based on the information viewed. Email or hand-deliver your assignment to your PE teacher by the deadline set by your teacher.
