1. Check Mr. Hines book cart (located at the SBHS Library desk) for selections. 

2. Browse the nonfiction collection.

Start in the 973 (American History) section. Browse the shelves for a book that might interest you.  Not sure how to begin browsing?   Watch Mrs. Manganello give you some suggestions on how to choose a nonfiction book that's right for you.

3. Check the Alexandria catalog to find a book that interests you. 

To locate a book in the Alexandria catalog, try a search for the event, time period (ex. Dust Bowl), or historical figure of interest.
