About Mrs. Caputo: 

I was born in Tarzana. CA, and raised in a small suburb North of Los Angeles. I spent my college years and after in the heart of Santa Monica and Culver City, where I met my husband Casey. We moved to San Diego seven years ago. We have fallen in love with this city, from the sun, the beach, and the outdoor adventures, we can't get enough. 

During my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, relaxing on the beach in the sun, and spending time with my friends and family. My husband and I love to travel, adventure, and explore new places. My new joy in life comes from watching my baby boy Jaxon grow, and learn. He is almost 4 years old, and it is crazy how time flies! :) 

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and my Masters in Elementary Education and Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University. GO BRUINS! This will be my eleventh year of teaching, seventh year in Solana Beach School District, and I absolutely cannot wait to be teaching 6th grade again this year!
