Save the date for South Brunswick Reads Night

We hope all district families will join us for our first ever SB Reads Night on Wednesday, January 31st from 6:30 - 8:00 PM at South Brunswick High School.  In partnership with the South Brunswick Public Library, district librarians and teachers will host an evening of stories that prove we all belong.  Activities will include read alouds with mystery readers, a book drive (all pre-k to 12 books will be accepted), a visit from a local author, a book lounge for our older readers, and free cookies and cocoa to end our evening.  We hope you will join us for an evening that celebrates how books help us to belong.

One Book Crossroads

Join us in reading Invisible by Christina Diaz Gonzalez.

Can five overlooked kids make a difference? They're stuck together when they're forced to complete community service hours. Although they're sure they have nothing in common, some people see them as all the same ... just five Spanish-speaking kids. Then they meet someone who truly needs their help, and they must decide whether they are each willing to expose their own secrets to help ... or if remaining invisible is the only way to survive middle school.
