All About Mrs. Khan.........

I am over joyed teaching Preschool this year!  Prior to this role, I served as a Kindergarten Reduction teacher where I conducted smalI group Reading and Writing groups.  Before that, I served as a Kindergarten teacher for 9 years.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland and my Masters in Science specializing in Reading from Johns Hopkins University. I hold Early Childhood Education (Pre K to 3rd Grade), ESOL and Reading Specialist certificates from New Jersey and previously in Maryland.

I believe in a positive learning environment for my students.  In my classroom, I ensure that students become a collective unit and responsible for their classroom.  I absolutely love the difference I can make as I watch the children grow academically and socially throughout the year.  My compassion and love for teaching shows in the lessons I create and conduct for the students. I believe in making work in the classroom very hands-on and I constantly make meaningful relationships and connections with every child in my classroom.
