Mrs. Bigelow

    My name is Mrs. Bigelow, and I have been teaching for 15 years.  I love fitness, being outdoors, crafting, shopping at Target or on Amazon and watching Netflix movies. Over the summer, I got to spend time with my husband- Ricke, my son -Cody, and my daughter- Cadence. Cody is six and a half years old and Cadence is four and half. I love to share stories about them, especially in Writer’s Workshop!

Also, this year you will hear many  funny stories about my two dogs, Jeter and Laci. Jeter is named after the famous baseball player, Derek Jeter. He is half-Chihuahua and half-Miniature Pinscher. He will be turning eight on September 12th. Laci is a Papillon and she is my sweet little girl who will turn seven in November.  

I am really excited to be your teacher this year and I KNOW we will have a lot of fun!

1. This will be my 16th year teaching at Brooks Crossing. 

2. My second major in college was Earth science.

3. I love to try new things.

4. I broke my foot while running (only that would happen to me!)

5. I love camping. Well, "glamping" because we do have an air mattress, running water and electric ha!

6. I have a passion for fitness.

7. I believe in enjoying life to the fullest.

8. I am gluten and dairy free.

9. I have a sweet tooth.

10. I am afraid of heights.
