Overview 

The STEM Learning Academy at SBHS will recognize and celebrate students’ learning in the STEM fields.  Students will take part in a series of courses, community-based experiences, and research opportunities.  After successfully completing the requirements, they will have a designation on their transcripts and will be honored at graduation.

Requirements

• Earn 9 credits in Science, Math, and/or Tech-Ed courses 

• Complete a Research Project  

• Participate in monthly cohort gatherings  (held during Advisory block) 

• Attend a specific number of extended learning opportunities (i.e.:  clubs, summer programs, guest speakers, field trips, events, etc.)

Application for STEM Academy at SBHS 

• Applications will be accepted until October 18th, 2024 

• Academy will begin in November for the 2024-25 school year
