Consultation Agreements
A referral must be placed for all students who do not have a current consultation agreement. The length of the consultation is determined by the team, and may last up to a school year. An exception may be made if the team determines that IDT member support is needed for a grade-level transition across school years. If a current consultation agreement is open for a student, a new referral is not needed to request assistance from other Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) members. Students who have current support from IDT members written on their IEP do not automatically qualify for other IDT members' consultation. A referral must be placed for other team members when a current consultation agreement is not made for that school year. `
