Filmmaking Course Overview

This comprehensive course is designed to equip students with a solid foundation in camera operations, video editing, media analysis, and the art of filmmaking. Throughout the course, students will engage in both independent and collaborative projects, enabling them to develop skills in project conceptualization, execution, and post-production.

Students will be required to engage in live video production activities during SHS varsity sporting events. Duties include camera operation, handling instant replays, and managing graphics and advertisements on the video boards at the football stadium and within the high school gym. These events contribute to the students' overall grades. This opportunity offers students a glimpse into the dynamic realm of live video production.
