Hello! My name is Jon Cummings and I am a Social Studies teacher in the Freshmen Academy! I am also the Assistant Boys Soccer coach, as well as the Assistant Cross Country coach! I am entering my 7th year of teaching/ This will be my second year here at SHS! I previously taught 4th and 5th grade at Westmoor Elementary school in Scottsbluff.

I have been married to my wife, Ellie, for three years and we have a one year old son. I am originally from Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming - Go Pokes! 

I enjoy working out, both lifting and running, spending time with my family, whether it be walking our dogs, or playing with my son, and doing home improvement projects. I am excited for this upcoming year!
