Hello! My name is Jon Cummings and I am a Social Studies teacher in the Freshmen Academy! I am also the assistant boys soccer coach, as well as the assistant boys cross country coach! I am entering my 6th year of teaching, but my first year of teaching at Scottsbluff High School. I previously taught 4th and 5th grade at Westmoor Elementary school in Scottsbluff.

I have been married to my wife, Ellie, for two years and we welcomed our son, Caleb, this past year. We both work in education and love giving back to the Panhandle. I am originally from Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming - Go Pokes! 

I enjoy working out, both lifting and running, spending time with my family, whether it be walking our dogs, or playing with my son, and doing home improvement projects. I am extremely excited to be a member of the Scottsbluff High School team!
