Hello! My name is Jon Cummings and I am a Social Studies teacher in the Freshmen Academy! I am also the assistant boys soccer coach, as well as the assistant boys cross country coach! I am entering my 6th year of teaching, but my first year of teaching at Scottsbluff High School. I previously taught 4th and 5th grade at Westmoor Elementary school in Scottsbluff.

I have been married to my wife, Ellie, for two years and we welcomed our son, Caleb, this past year. We both work in education and giving back to the Panhandle. I am originally from Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming - Go Pokes! 

I enjoy working out, both lifting and running, spending time with my family, whether it be walking our dogs, or playing with my son, and doing home improvement project. I am extremely excited to be a member of the Scottsbluff High School team!
