Scottsbluff Public Schools - Every Child, Every Day
Welcome! I am excited to provide speech-language therapy services to students within Scottsbluff Public Schools at the secondary level.
I entered the field of speech-language pathology serving adults with communication and swallowing disorders in hospitals, short-term rehab, and long-term care. I then transitioned to working in public schools with students across grades and abilities. My goal as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) is to empower students to be confident communicators who self-advocate.
The field of speech-language pathology focuses on the assessment, treatment, and prevention of communication disorders. To qualify for special education services in the category of Speech-Language Impairment, a student must have a communication disorder such as: stuttering, impaired articulation, language impairment and/or voice impairment under the criteria set by the Nebraska Department of Education Rule 51.
I look forward to a great school year!
