Scottsbluff Public Schools - Every Child, Every Day
Hi, my name is Rachel Delle. I am a certified professional counselor and a licensed mental health practitioner. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Chadron State College and hold a Master of Arts Degree in Community Counseling also from Chadron State College. My professional experience includes working twenty years at a community mental health center and day treatment program. I have an interest in helping people work through trauma and have completed Traumatic Incident Reduction coursework and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing training.
I enjoy working with kids and families. I employ a strength-based/solution focused approach in my work and am influenced by the legendary clinician Virginia Satir. She promoted the idea that all people are doing the best they can in any given moment… I agree. I see this every day at Scottsbluff High School. I am so glad to be a part of student and staff lives at SHS.
Some of my favorite coping strategies include:
Reaching out to people who help me feel appreciated, wanted, and needed.
Listening to music…especially the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Remembering I am enough the way I am and so are you.
