Mr. Brening's involvement in music has been a lifelong passion.  There have been many influences that have played an important role in his musical development.  He grew up in a very musical family and had excellent educational experiences concerning music.  He started playing the guitar at nine years old and enjoys educating and encouraging others in discovering how to develop a passion for guitar as well.  He also has a fascination for technology in today's ever changing world... many other interests fill his life including spending time with family, watching  Huskers football and golf just to mention a few.  He believes that teaching at Bluffs Middle School is a privilege and he also hopes that his students will learn far more than just music...
