Sra. Soto - World Languages-Spanish
About Me
I am Señora Soto. I was born and raised in Morrill, Nebraska. I have 3 children in 11th, 8th, & 5th grades. I recently moved back to the Panhandle from Vancouver, WA, where I lived for 4 years, and taught Spanish at the University of Portland, and did medical interpreting. Prior to living in Washington, I lived in Kansas City, MO for almost 6 years, and Wyoming for almost 8 years where I taught Spanish and Translation at UW. I have studied at various institutes, which include UNK, Purdue University, and Cardiff University; and received my degrees from CSC, Université Laval, Instituto de Lenguas, Oaxaca, MX., and UW. I am also a qualified Community Interpreter.
I have a passion for hiking, traveling, and spending time with my children and friends. I have been to various countries and love to learn about new cultures and languages. My favorite past times are gardening and being outdoors.
