Introduction to Health Science

Class Description

Introduction to Health Sciences is designed to give the student a basic overview of the healthcare

environment and a specific overview of popular health careers. This is beneficial for students as they

make choices based on informed interest and their commitment to the responsibilities that each

career requires. The course focuses on health careers, exploration, leadership development, medical

terminology, ethical and legal responsibilities, the history of healthcare, and the economics of

healthcare.
