About Me
Welcome,
My name is Mrs. Wheeler and I am one of the SHS Health Science Career Academy instructors. I recently obtained my State of Nebraska Career Education Teaching Permit. This is my 7th year as an employee for SPBS, but my first year teaching. Previously, I was one of the Registered Nurses for the district. I have been a nurse for 15 years now. My husband is Mr. Wheeler and he teaches in the freshman academy. We have 2 amazing boys! I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with SHS students and spark an interest within the healthcare field.
This year I will be teaching Project Lead the Way:Principles of Biomedical Science, Introduction to Health Sciences, Sports Medicine, and Medical Terminology.
