About Me
I am so thrilled to be teaching English here at Scottsbluff High School! I love reading, writing, and sharing that love with others.
I previously taught high school English in Harrison, NE and Composition at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln.
My husband and I moved here 10 years ago from Lincoln, NE. My husband teaches Chemistry at WNCC and my daughters both attend school here in Scottsbluff. We have a 4 year old yellow lab named Abby and a tank full of tropical fish.
Some of my favorite books include The Lord of the Rings series, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, all the writings of Charlotte and Emily Bronte, as well as the works of Stephen King.
I am excited for us to share and learn together this year as we examine some great literature and produce some wonderful writing!
